  • Abstract
    The present article evaluates the performance of different MMC-HVDC converter control strategies for both internal and external control, and analyzes the performance and compatibility with the current vector control method. A full analytical expression of the system dynamics including the grid connection is presented and two novel inner control methods are exposed.
