  • Abstract
    Accurate calculation of the armature reaction reactance parameters has a great impact on the performance of the generator, but the existing methods are difficult to consider the interactive influence of the d axis and q axis. So the calculation is not more accurate. In this paper, reactance parameters were calculated by modifying the relative permeability. The obtained data were very close to the experimental value. This method was proved to be accurate. On the basis of the method, the changes of reactance parameters were also analyzed with mechanical angle and armature current variation. In addition, this paper summarized the influence of length of magnetization direction, air gap and power factor on reactance parameters, which had great significance to improve the performance of the generator.
