Abstract :
Spatiotemporal chaotic sequences have been widely used as a kind of complex pseudorandom sequences. But some well known Spatiotemporal chaotic sequences, such as One Way Couple Map Lattices (OCML) sequence, have poor autocorrelation performance, and their applications are limited. Based on recently presented Autocorrelation Phase-space Axis Symmetric (APAS) theorem, we modified OCML map to Symmetrical-OCML (S-OCML) map, and S-OCML sequence has excellent autocorrelation performance, whereas its other performances remain invariant or become better, and can be used more widely.
