Abstract :
In this paper, a Hybrid Immune Evolutionary Algorithm (HIEA) based on Immune Evolutionary Algorithm (IEA) and Powell method is proposed. To improve optimization capability of algorithm, HIEA takes advantage of global search ability of IEA which is based on probability and local search ability of deterministic Powell method. To increase the diversity of population distribution, niche technology was introduced. The advantage of proposed HIEA was demonstrated by solving three optimization problems. Results show that the optimization capability of HIEA is more advanced than IEA and Powell, and there is significant decline in computational complexity. Hence, HIEA is promising in complex engineering optimization problems.
