  • Abstract
The fluctuating Frequency Response of The Sound Pressure Lever (SPL Response) of piezoelectric panel loudspeaker (piezo-speaker) leads the bad sound playback quality compared with traditional high-fidelity moving-coil loudspeaker, which is one of important bottlenecks that restrict improvements and applications of piezo-speaker. Based on theoretical and experimental studies, several optimization methods are proposed to solve this problem, e.g. applying pressure on center of vibration plate, attaching masses with elastic mats and connecting series resistor. From view of engineering applications, the optimization processes for high acoustic performance of piezo-speaker are summarized in the end of this paper.
