Abstract
The bullwhip effect brings higher inventory cost and customer service level reduction, which is an amplification of the demand variability because of information distortion in the transmission process. In this paper, for reducing the effect, we analyze comparatively how three information sharing models affect the bullwhip effect, such as order information, demand information, inventory information. And, we also analyze related parameters and present some measures to reduce bullwhip effect.
