Abstract :
FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) devices and VHDL, a hardware description language, software are common in computer and electronic design. As a new light source, LEDs are used more and more. In this paper, a LED hardware controller for a reconfigurable processor is described. The design is based on FPGA. The simulation and test are taken. With the LED controller, a microprocessor in SoC will manage LED devices more easily and quickly.
