Abstract :
The shape of structure of stair handrail elbow has been decided by the shape of space contour of staircase handrail elbow. The structure of special NC machine tool was used for processing stair handrail elbow has been determined through the analysis of stair handrail elbow. The parametric equations of mathematical description have been established for the centerline of profile curve of stair handrail elbow, which has been simulative tested by UG software, and the result showed that there have been good accuracy, versatility and practicality for the mathematical model founded. This model provides a theoretical basis for trajectories of NC processing stair handrail elbow with form cutter.
