Abstract :
6 DOF (Degree of freedom) mechanics modal of powerplant mount system is established. Optimum design of powerplant system is made with uncoupling of energy, lateral and vertical vibration transmission rate. And based on this optimum design, software named EMUND is developed, which is used in a commercial car. The result indicates that rational set of mount parameters could greatly decrease vibration transmission from powerplant to the body in the automobile design.
