  • Abstract
    For homogeneous material and non-homogeneous material plates, the crack-tip field plays an important role in the research of fracture mechanics. In this paper, the governing equations are derived. Then, the series expansion is applied to find the crack-tip field of circular plates of functionally graded materials (FGMs) with Reissner´s effect. Finally, the higher order crack-tip field is obtained and becomes the solution of the corresponding homogeneous plate as non-homogeneous material parameter is degenerated, i.e. β→0.
