Abstract
Aiming at the influence on processing error caused by tool wear in virtual NC process, ball-end milling tool is taken as research object, all the cutting factors, which affect tool wear mechanism when complex curved surface parts are processed, are fully considered, and the ball-end milling tool wear mathematical model is established, thus the processing error compensation method caused by tool wear is put forward, the tool wear coefficient is determined by measuring the axial and the and radial wears, to predict the tool wear quantity in milling process, the experiment results demonstrate that the established model is valid and reasonable, it provides theoretical basis for complex curved surface processing error research and curved surface processing precision improvement.
