Abstract
Coal industrial safety is important for the coal industry to develop healthily. In this paper the Data Envelopment Analysis model is applied to evaluate the coal industrial safety in China. The evaluation result shows the coal industry is basic safe at the present time and in the near future. The coal industry can develop more safely by improving the competitiveness, gaining the scale benefit and applying advanced technology.
