Abstract :
China is in the economy transition and social transformation period. At this phase, food safety incidents emerge in endlessly, causing more and more consumers complaints, so the government increases management on food safety emergencies, and the media focuses on food safety emergencies. This paper mainly discusses food safety incidents from their transmission. Firstly, it analyzes the role of the government and the media in food safety emergencies; Secondly it uses Game Theory, Supply and Demand curves to indicate that the government should moderately supervision the media, meanwhile, the media should guarantee reports authenticity in food safety incidents. Finally, it Proposes strategies on improving the relationship between the government and the media on food safety emergencies.
