Abstract :
This paper intends to highlight the function allocation (FA) issues that relate to the human capabilities needed in a situation that FA was not properly handled for new technology. In many FA papers, automation was discussed and is considered a major concern for FA. The problems will be discussed with the introduction of the FA gap concept and further studies are suggested.
