Abstract :
Rough set theory generalizes the classical set theory by allowing an alternative to formulate set with imprecise boundaries. It has been demonstrated to be useful in many fields such as knowledge discovery, decision analysis, data mining, etc. In this paper, we discuss the main tolerance-based VPRS models. Further, the relations of tolerance-based VPRS models are also investigated. Through the relations of different models, one can obtain the generalized model based on tolerance-based VPRS models. Numerical examples are employed to substantiate the conceptual arguments.
