Abstract :
This paper reports the results of experiments performed in a test Long Term Evolution mini-network (Rel´8 May 2008 interim release). The experiments were focused on the indoor performance of some Internet applications like bulk file transfer and video streaming. It appears that the 3rd Generation Partnership Project performance targets w.r.t. Round-Trip Time reduction and throughput have been met, even with suboptimal channel quality. Spatial and polarisation diversities are also able to significantly enhance the user experience.
