Abstract :
Properties of the electromagnetic field of radiation systems change with distance from source: the near region, the Fresnel region and the far region are considered in the antenna theory. The formulations of most antenna synthesis problems include some requirements on characteristics of electromagnetic field in the far region, for example, on the amplitude directivity pattern [1]. Today in the connection with electromagnetic ecology problems, synthesis tasks which include the decreasing of the antenna radiation in the Fresnel region become more actually. In this paper is investigated the synthesis problem of the cylindrical radiator by the given amplitude directivity pattern in the far region with some limitations on radiation in the Fresnel region.
