Web based research administration and information system

The success of Research University highly depends on the well-conducted Research Administration and Management. Flexible and productive Research Management is one of basic points of modern university. Integrated scientific information system is a key future which could solve significant problem from the Research Administration and Management view-point in Georgia. Nowadays in Gerogia there is no comprehensive information about particular researcher as well as research Institute, or Institution of higher education. In turn it complicates both visiability and promotion of researcher´s potential, establishement of communication with foreign colleagues and participation in joint research projects. In this article we consider research administration and information system developed at the Tbilisi State University from software engineering viewpoint. Different levels of the system and core modules are also discussed.
