Abstract :
A simulation method for switching controllers is presented in this paper. The analog and digital circuits are absolutely separated in this method to avoid the limitation existed in the modern simulation software. This simulation method is much simpler than the conventional methods, with accurate simulated results and rapid computing speed. It has gotten proof in the switching controllers (which are prevalent in radar transmitter system) with PWM and PFM output. Practical circuit is also built and tested to verify the accuracy of the method. The simulated results are approximately approach to the test, which prove the efficiency of this method. Furthermore, it is also very simple to be applied to other hybrid chips and circuits.
