Abstract
The bistatic forward-looking SAR with geostationary illuminator and UAV receiver is different from the airborne bistatic SAR in geometry configuration. The paper combines an ellipsoid geometry with forward-looking characteristic and study the approach to detect ambiguous scattering points in the scene. The simulation results for different range and moving direction (including the horizontal baseline direction) of receiver have been given and the feasibility of ambiguous scattering points detection approach is verified.
