Abstract :
Due to many nonideal conditions such as the channel gain/phase response error and multi-channel range-doppler images coregistration error, the performance of radial velocity estimation of moving targets with the traditional adaptive match filtering algorithm will degrade. For the purpose of overcoming this influence, a new radial velocity estimation algorithm based on data reconstruction and signal fitting is proposed. The validity and superiority of this method are experimentally verified by the simulated and real synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data. The results illustrate this method has a good robustness to image coregistration error and channel response error.
