Abstract :
The problems about stationary targets imaging and moving targets detection based on airship conformal sparse array antenna are investigated in this paper. All radar subarrays transmit orthogonal frequency signals simultaneously. For stationary targets imaging, an equivalent full array is obtained through multiple phase center aperture synthesis principle. Then the stationary targets imaging can be achieved by back projection (BP) algorithm for each sub-band signal. To improve the range resolution, all the results are coherently accumulated. For moving targets detection, multiple-pulse signals are transmitted by the transmitting subarray to achieve clutter suppression by MTI. After applying range compression to each sub-band signal, the data in the same range cell, in which moving targets exist, is chosen to reconstruct the azimuth locations of the moving targets by the compressed sensing (CS) method. Similarly, all the results will be incoherently accumulated to improve the moving targets detection SNR.
