Abstract
In this paper, the multi-mode pulsed Doppler radar system, where transmit power and 3-dB beam width of antenna is changeable according to operation mode, is developed for obstacle detection on the highway. The system parameters are designed by requirement analysis, and the components are manufactured. The performance test of development radar system is performed on the runway in Korea Aerospace University. Finally, field campaign is carried out considering various real scenarios.
