  • Abstract
In the future Internet, context-aware content transmission should be done seamlessly. However, context aggregation and handling in today´s communication networks is still a challenging problem as mobility of nodes and users makes information routing as well as context processing difficult. We suggest here that the paradigms of content object and content-centric network can be used together and exploited by a multi-agent system to provide a context-awareness layer for today´s networks. Content-based Networks have been designed to handle content directly at the network level. Although they have been conceived for fixed architectures, the way they work makes them a perfect tool to handle mobility. With a coupling with a multi-agent system, we obtain an architecture allowing context-aware content handling in fixed and mobile networks, supporting both CCN and TCP/IP protocols. We present here this architecture.
