Abstract
The performance of downlink multi-user MIMO OFDM transmission is investigated at the physical layer of 3GPP-LTE. Three different types of channel estimation imperfections are presented. Performance degradations caused by this imperfect channel estimation at the receiver are simulated and analyzed by means of uncoded bit error ratio as function of signal to interference ratio at the physical layer.
