Abstract
In this paper, a new fluoroscopy-based navigation system was developed. It can track the surgery instrument and patient´s femur´s location real-timely. The preoperative planning was against three cannulated screws based on the principle of close reduction and internal fixation (CRIF) treatment. To project the surgical instrument into the two fluoroscopic images (AP and Literal) of the femoral neck, firstly we calibrated the C-arm camera and then made a hand-eye calibration against the C-arm system. Finally, using the transformation matrix of different coordinates realized the navigation process. The experiment shows that the accuracy of system was blow 2mm. The navigation system was proved to be functional and less radiation exposure.
