  • Abstract
Ureteral stent is commonly used to provide urinary drainage after urological practice. Preliminary investigation on fibrous assembly degradable ureteral stent is conducted in this study. The stent is composed of PGA and PLGA multifilament. The stent has a bamboo-like structure to provide better mechanical properties and the abilities of self-degradation within 8 weeks in vitro. The stent degradation process was smooth and well controlled.
