The analysis of JiangTong´s 540° twisting Yurchenko in horse vaulting

With cameras and TJ-Motion software, this research focused on the kinematics of jumping, on-flight, hands push, the off-flight and landing of Jiang Tong´s 540° Twisting Yurchenko in horse vaulting in 2010 National Gymnastics Championship held in Xiantao, Hubei Province. With the analysis, data was obtained and there came to the conclusions that: Jiang Tong´s on-flight cost short time. While flight, her torso trunk brake skill was to be improved. She needed to strengthen the lumbar muscles. And because of her strong arms, Jiang Tong´s off-flight was high. In that case, athletes and coaches can have a better knowledge of the skill to drill and improve performance.
