Abstract :
The development of geometric distortion correction system for shooting impact point based on polynomial curve fitting is presented in the paper. The study of automatic acquisition of polynomial coefficients, the extraction and correction of laser shooting impact points also are discussed in depth in the paper. This newly developed system features its simple algorithm, cheap expenses, high accuracy, and its capability to provide real time and accurate coordinates of impact point for the virtual shooting training system.
