  • Abstract
    Based on the discreteness of existing form and the continuity of energy distribution of digital image, this paper presents a new local feature detection method. The proposed method realizes the local feature detection of optical image, radar image and infrared image based on gray gradient sequence and 1-D Hilbert-huang transform method. Experimental results show that this method can describe and detect common local feature of single-sensor images and multi-sensor images efficiently for image registration application.
