Abstract :
The registration accuracy evaluation is a non-trivial problem for remote sensing image registration, and it is highly desirable for the user to know how accurate the registration actually is. The paper proposes an automatic method to assess registration accuracy through estimating the grid control points (CPs) registration error and error distribution using reregistration method. The experiments indicate that the method has the capability of automatically providing image registration accuracy.
