Abstract
Cooperative communication technique relies on the relay selection and power allocation process to optimize its performance. Optimal relay selection using game theory can lead to maximum benefit for both the source and the relay nodes. In this paper, we propose a Stackelberg game model for cooperative wireless communication networks with interference. The simulation result shows that interference coming from other clusters of cooperative communication nodes has an effect to the relay selection process. We also propose optimal relay selection process which limits the number of usable relay nodes while giving a good performance.
