The performance result of a pilot project for the intelligent home services of ready-made houses at Tongyeong-City

As a part of a government policy facilitating an intelligent home project, a pilot project to install intelligent home services at houses of living alone elderly and town halls in some regions at Tongyoung City, Gyeongnam was conducted. The services including safety monitoring, home security, disaster prevention, and visiting nurse were provided for the living alone elderly; on the other hand, home security and health check-up services for the town halls. As a result, the fundamental to facilitate the intelligent home project in Gyeongnam was built; the social welfare considering the disadvantaged group was expanded; and it paved the way to expand the pilot project. This paper depicts the created pilot project, the project result, and the effect.
