Abstract :
In this paper, we investigate the problems of improving the performances and stability of the unstable or lightly damped internal dynamics of BTB STATCOM system. We propose the input-output feedback linearization controller with the damping term. To prove the stability of damped internal dynamics, a parameter dependent Lyapunov theorem is used. And the exponentially stability of the closed-loop system is established by designing a composite Lyapunov function.
