Abstract :
Evolutionary design of Sugeno-type fuzzy system for humanoid robot modeling is presented in this paper. In the proposed design of fuzzy system, determination of membership function type, number of membership function assigned to input variables, types of consequent equation for fuzzy rules, optimal number of input variables, and dominant input variables among input candidates are carried out using evolutionary algorithm.
