  • Abstract
    The goal of the paper is to optimize the geometry for maximum power absorption in a two dimensional heaving body. In particular, the geometry of asymmetric bodies such as Salter´s duck will be further explored. Two numerical models are being used to evaluate the power absorption efficiency of various buoy geometries, AQWA and OcraFlex. Five of these numerical models will be confirmed via experimental work.
