Abstract
A holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystal (HPDLC) based microperiodic structure is fabricated by a photo-induced phase separation technique using LC composites with different physical properties, such as refractive indices and clearing points. The holographic image is recorded in the HPDLC grating by a spatial light modulator (SLM). The fabricated HPDLC grating presents a holographic image reconstruction using the thermal modulation of diffraction induced at the threshold temperature decided by the nematic-isotropic transition of LCs.
