Abstract
We proposed optical label generation and processing based on LiNbO3 (LN) modulators and variable bandwidth spectrum shaper (VBS), respectively. This method is capable of flexible optical encoding and decoding (en/decoding) and high precision control in spectrum domain. We confirmed correct discrimination between matched and unmatched code by threshold processing in simulation and experiment using 8 chip, 20 Gchip/s binary phase shift keying (BPSK) codes.
