Abstract :
To search for a kind of acceleration and deceleration control algorithm is suitable for high-speed and high-precision numerical control system. In this paper, by analyzing and comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the linear, exponential, linear parabolic and S-curve acceleration and deceleration control algorithms in numerical control systems, the first three types of control algorithms have acceleration mutations phenomenon, and this sudden change of trajectory planning will lead to the speed curve less smooth, the resultant feed drive speed command is not smooth, eventually lead to the driving force of the servo motor uneven and cause unwanted vibration, and S-curve algorithm improves the accuracy of position control and the stability of motor starting and stopping. Therefore, this paper emphatically discusses the characteristic of the accelerating curve and velocity curves of the S-curve control algorithm, and on this basis, concludes that the S-curve control algorithm is a kind of ideal control algorithm which is suitable for high-speed and high-precision numerical control system.
