Abstract
Despite considerable researches on IS use, a comprehensive understanding of IS use remains elusive, including m-government (mobile government) use. In an attempt to address this situation, we propose a detailed theoretical model based on a broad theoretical model relying on several IS adoption theories. This detailed model explains three constructs determinants: the m-government use, the relationships of m-government use with three context-related constructs (top leaders´ support for IS, top leaders´ participation in ISs and facilitating conditions for ISs), two technology-related constructs (mobility and personalization), and three constructs representing the environment-related constructs (mimetic pressures, coercive pressures, and normative pressures). Implications for theory and practice as well as limitations and further research direction are then discussed.
