  • Abstract
TG-FTIR was used to study the pyrolysis of cellulose with catalysts. The three zeolites (HZSM-5, H-β, USY) all inhibit the main decomposition of cellulose and reduced the formation of oxygenated compounds (such as aldehydes, acids and esters) effectively. HZSM-5 has the best deoxygenation activity. USY catalyzes the conversion of oxygenated compounds into isoalkanes, and H-β promotes the formation of CO2 significantly.
