  • Abstract
Birds´ acts are hidden danger of transmission line faults. They sometimes cause power system transient fault. Driving birds on transmission line has distinctive features. The devices couldn´t equip with active devices. The needs of driving birds on transmission line could be reduced in some degree. And birds would not be hurt. This paper describes a solar ultrasonic birds repeller on transmission line, which could effectively drive the birds away. It uses the solar panel as the energy source, and the super capacitor as the energy storage element. It uses intermittent and high-volume ultrasonic to drive birds away.
