Abstract :
The electromagnetic compatibility of medical devices in the hospital is important to ensure the correct functioning of these devices. In this paper the characterization of a medical device as a source and as a victim of electromagnetic fields is presented, along with other possible sources and victims of electromagnetic fields. The source considered to determine the interference with the medical device was a mobile phone.
