Abstract
The nodes of the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) offer a new perspective into the SQL language-oriented WSN due to the introduction of new low-power microcontrollers and flexible modes of operation, that have the capability to regulate the transmission power in accordance with the real operational needs. This new possibility of being able to handle the operation of the nodes based on flexible technologies on consumption offers one the opportunity to consider the WSN not only as a DataBase (DB) with tuples distributed on the nodes of efficient pervasive computing systems capable of activation when the measured values pass the threshold, but as a dynamic pervasive computing system, independent, self-organizing and self-regulating and thus optimizing the lifetime of this dynamically controlled system. The aim of this article is to present a simple algorithm to assign a “weight” to all nodes of the network proportional to the energy used by each node to transmit the data.
