Abstract
Solar mini grid of 100 kW in Sandwip Island is an attempt to demonstrate viability and provide reliable service to the un-served population in the remote locations of Bangladesh. This is the largest off-grid installation of its kind in the nation using state of the art technology. This paper presents the key features of the power plant, including technical design and operations in order to meet public demand. Reliable performance of the power plant has been highlighted with special focus on energy usage pattern.
