Abstract :
An angle estimation method for Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) radar in the presence of colored noise fields is presented. In this method, the transmitter array is divided into two sub-arrays. Then a new correlation matrix can be constructed by the received data from two transmitter sub-arrays and reconstructed data. The influence of spatial colored noise can be eliminated by the cross correlation matrix and the angle can be estimated by ESPRIT-MUSIC. The parameters can be paired automatically and the angle estimation performance of the proposed method is better than other methods in low SNR. Simulation results are presented to verify the effectiveness of this method.
