Abstract :
We present an evaluation method to estimate the spurious emission levels produced by a multicarrier system in the specially defined spurious domain due to the nonlinearity of its high-power amplifier (HPA). We compared the results from our proposed analytical model with the actual experimental results from the multicarrier system and found good agreement. The method is accurate enough to determine whether a system is compatible with International Telecommunication Union (ITU) recommendations without needing to conduct complex tests.
