Abstract :
Signal model has great significance to time and phase synchronization research in a bistatic radar. In prevenient research, time synchronization and phase synchronization are investigated separately and their coupling relation has not been investigated. This paper introduces a bistatic radar signal model according to system´s composition and operation procedure. From the radar operation principle, origin of time and phase synchronization in bistatic radar is revealed and their coupling relation is derived in theory.
