Abstract :
Comparing with the Radar data, the data acquired from the IR system only has two dimensions for lacking of the information of distance, which results to the poor tracking performance and low reliability of targets. Based on TBD (Tracking Before Detect), this paper processes the IR data of aeroplanes which has been image-pretreated. For the low track reliability in tracking process, a cumulative track quality is produced. The track furcation, track combination, track deletion, and deferred decision logic is used to improve the robustness and the validity of track association. At the end of the paper, the processing result in real IR data shows the algorithm validity.
