Abstract :
HRRP preprocessing takes a key role in radar target recognition based on HRRP. In this paper, an HRRP preprocessing method, including a modified range alignment method and denoising processing, is proposed to improve the recognition performance for the radar target with moving parts. This scheme has been used to process the real data of the radar target with moving parts. The experimental results show that using the modified algorithm can not only reduce the size of the templates and the computation complexity, but also improve the recognition performance.
